Tobin was born just before Halloween and came home with us just before Christmas, a true gift. He is the nephew of our Riley, just as cute and just as smart. Why go back to potty training, early morning wake-up calls and teething? Puppies are a bundle of joy and a bundle of mischief, both are curious to follow. We enjoy the challenge of raising outstanding dogs, and this family of dogs has proven to be fantastic. It is too early to know just what activities will be his favorites, but for now it is definitely eating!

Riley is one of nine pups born on July 11 in 2007. For those of you who are gamblers that is 7/11/07! His mother, Nevada and his Father, Jake are both natives to Gilroy. They had three litters of pups, all black and all great dogs! We regularly play with four of his siblings, Figaro, Bella, Shadow and Apollo, every one of them special in their own way. Riley has a list of favorite activities: playing fetch in the park; walks around the neighborhood with Luke and Daisy; swimming at Anderson Lake with Jan; and playgroups with Arni, Barney, Sugar and the rest of dogs in the neighborhood. He has learned some tricks beyond the usual including: touch, take a rest, take a bow and high five! Riley has earned his Canine Good Citizenship through the AKC and Happy Tails to You Training directed by Dawna Cadwell in San Jose. Riley is best known for his intense stare combined with pointing at the tennis ball. Some day soon we plan to try dock diving and Riley hopes to be a Daddy!
